how do we know when it's finished importing the files? Will it delete the files from SD after importing them? After import how fast will it show up in the Monument app?

I am a user of Monument and I think I can answer your questions.

    1. Light will change to solid white when it finished importation and analysis of photos.

    2. No, content in SD card will not be deleted.

    3. It depends on how many photos you import. Importation speed is like copying photos to another portable harddisk.
Once importation finished, Monument analyzes imported photos and shows up analyzed one immediately so you will see photos pop up in app one by one while Monument is analyzing photos.

    Hope it helps.

We are planning on improving the SD Card Import so that it's more user-friendly.

    Some suggestions for user-friendliness.

Have feedback on Android device showing that SD import has started and/or is in progress.

Also automatically create album representing SD import?

Or add to view showing by import+device.

Suggestion for future Monument versions is to have an SD card reader spring and click.

That way the user knows the card is properly inserted.

Thanks so much for your feedback!

It's in our roadmap to improve the SD card import process in the near future so that users know details of the process and we also have plans to automatically create albums based on upload/import :)

Regarding the spring click - I agree, this would've been nice but this is something we can consider in the future.
