There is no option in device settings to auto-update firmware!!!!!
I have never seen this on the iOS app so I'm calling BS. I want video proof that it exists.
Hi,
There is no "auto-update firmware" option in the settings. New firmware will be automatically downloaded. If there are any issues with the automatic update, then the manual firmware update can be used.
Auto-update firmware is a myth. I've had one connected to the internet since it was launched and it has never once updated automatically. It'll just sit there until I get round to yet another manual update.
In fact now that I've got to 2.5.9 the SD and the USB upgrade methods don't work either..
What's the fourth option then?
Of course I'm assuming that the latest firmware link downloads the correct version as I've no way of telling what version it actually downloaded. One things for sure I can't get it to upgrade from 2.5.9.
Years on and this thing is still "almost good" but never quite gets there.
