These steps don't work. Bluetooth works fine when doing a factory reset of monument, but not to complete the setup process. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus with Android 8.0.0...this is one of the most common Android phones so it should have been tested by your QA team.

Thanks for the feedback, Bryan! Unfortunately, there are many different factors involved. For example, one Samsung Galaxy S8 may work but another may not. We are working on improving our Bluetooth protocol.

We have responded to your ticket as well with more information! :)

Yeah I have tried it on 2 galaxy s8 devices (mine and my wife's) as well as on 2 galaxy s8 edge devices (our old phones). Like I said it is not a problem with bluetooth because the phones are able to connect to monument via bluetooth to do a factory reset, but not to complete setup. As a backup you should allow another method to do the handshake like a QR code or even let users use a thumb drive to set up the monument device.

Thanks for this information. This also suggests to us that this may not be a Bluetooth issue. We are following up with you in the ticket to diagnose this further.

We are VERY keen on finding the underlying issue here.
