- Make sure your hard drive is securely connected to the USB port
- Eject the hard drive and connect it to a computer to make sure it is working properly
- The hard drive may be pulling more power than the Monument Device allows (max 500mA @ 5V per port) and is becoming 'Inactive'.
Note: This typically happens when 2 hard drives are connected.
In this case you will need to use a Powered USB Hub. Please
connect the hub to one USB port on Monument and connect only one
hard drive to the hub.
