There is no option about people in step 3 on any of the devices connected to my monument

There are two instances when you will not see the people field on a photo:

    1. Monument was unable to recognize a person in the photo
    2. There aren't enough photos of that person (minimum 5) to create a suggested person

If you already have an existing person and the photo has a clear face, please send us a message to support@getmonument.com and we'll be happy to investigate! :)

I have multiple pictures where no person is identified.  The the "No People" option does not show when "Information is selected.  That specific person has multiple photos where they are identified. Working in IOS.  Some of the pictures are IMG Heir format.  Could that be the issue?

Most likely, Monument was unable to recognize the same person in those photos. I am reaching out to you to further investigate this! :)

I have many many instances where faces aren't getting detected. I need a way to manually tag these.

Also, is there a way to tell Monument that something isn't a face? I have accidental faced too.

If there isn't an option to manually tag a person then Monument was unable to recognize that face. We have plans to include another manual tagging option for unrecognized faces.

For accidental tags (not a person), please either delete the tag if the person has already been created. If the person still hasn't been created/named, then deselect the photo before assigning the person a name:

Looks like the info you are showing above is from a phone.  I am using Monument from my desktop iMac, and when I click where you tell me too,  as with M Stacey's comment above from last November, there is no option to tag the single person in the photo.. whose face shows very clearly.   Is this because the desktop is beta, and you haven't got this perfected for Macs yet?  I really want to tag persons so they can join the tagged people.

Manual tagging through the desktop app isn't available yet as it is planned for development. Our goal is to make the desktop app as fully functional as the mobile apps.

Currently, you will need to use the iOS or Android app to manually tag people.

How would I tag someone in a picture where the software does not recognize a face?  ie the person is turned to the side but I want to add the photo to the persons People library.

Same kind of question for a picture that has more than one face\person and I want to tag them so it is in their People library?

How is it possible that a lot of very clear photos with known people are not recognized? And I mean a lot!

What is also strange is that when i want to manual tag the person, the suggestion the app gives me is almost always correct. If you can give a good suggestion, why dont you auto tag those images?

Following too - Monumnet has not recognised some very clear pictures  -  it would be good to be able to add them manually - or even get monument to re run an new analysis without having to go through the whole re do it again process..

    Following.
This sounds great, but like many above, working on an updated IOS iPhone, I have photos where the "No People" option does not appear under "Show Information"
    My App Version is 2.17.14

Please advise how I can install this option, or if this prompt can appear on every photo regardless of the photos content.

I'm not able to manually tag from my iphone, either... I show app version 2.17.16 and Monument version 2.5.9

One of the photos is of my mom and dad whom I have many recognized photos of already in the system... I am boggled.

I have the same issue, the option to tag a person is not available. Monument 2.5.9, iOS App 2.17.17. I feel I should be able to tag a person in the phone and highlight their face, similar to the Facebook style of tagging.
