Welcome to Monument!

This guide is designed to get you up and running with your Monument 2 as quickly as possible. 
Whether you're a new user or an existing Monument owner, we've got you covered. Check out the guides below for a general outline, and click through to the links for more specific instructions.

ℹ Before you begin, please make sure you have an active internet connection which will be used during the registration and downloading the latest available firmware.

Setting up a new Monument 2

Here's what you need:

WiFi or Ethernet cable: You can connect your Monument 2 to your network using WiFi or an Ethernet cable. Monument 2 supports the next generation WiFi 6 (802.11 ax) technology to connect to your network. Alternatively, you can also connect your Monument 2 to your router over Gigabit Ethernet connection.

iOS or Android mobile device: The initial setup needs to be completed using an iOS or Android device.

⚠️ The initial setup needs to be completed using a mobile device. It can not be completed using a computer.

A storage device: Built-in SSD models come with a storage pre-installed. If you're using a diskless model and want to use your own storage, you will need to use an internal SSD or an external USB Drive.
⚠️ Monument 2 is compatible with M2 2280 form factor SATA drives. You can find the list of some of the supported drives here.

Follow the setup guide to begin.
Note: If you are planning to use your own internal SSD Drive, please prepare your device by following the steps on this guide.

Migrating from Monument 1

⚠️ Before you begin, please make sure you completed the steps on Monument 1 and started the migration process.
Please follow the migration guide to continue with transferring your existing setup to Monument 2. Please do not start the generic setup process to complete the migration.
